INDIAN PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THE FACTS ON SECULARISM

There are secular in our society who r pseudo secular,but i want to write some facts  about hindu muslims,which u people criticizing hindu all the time,media don't know  the facts. 1)could, a com munity that ruled India for over nine hundred years and belonged to  a privileged class even during British Raj, become socially handicapped? 2)Accordingly,we need to closely scrutinize the dispensation the Muslims received  in post-independence India. a)the constitution in its Preamble guaranteed Justice,social,economic and  political liberty,of thoughts,expression,belief,faith,and worship,equality of  status and of opportunity etc. b)Even while granting equality to all, the consti itself provided extraordinary rights and privileges to the minorities in its article 25,26, and 27,28,29, and 30  and thus gave the status of special class citizens to the Muslims and other  minorities.The even more significant part is that this freedom was specifically  denied to the majority community(hindus)in got institutions. c)Vande mataram song was not granted the status of the "National Anthem" in deference to some sections of muslims who were averse to it .This signifies the  special consideration given to muslim sentiments. d)Every country has one uniform set of laws for its people ,in deference to muslim  sentiments the muslim were permitted to be governed by their muslim personal  law,signifying special consideration to them. e)The hindu code bill has been merrily am mended time and time again as per the  changing times but muslim personal law was never touched in deference to the  sentiments of Muslims leaders on the issue. f)In deference to the sentiments of Indian muslims, when fundamental duties of  citizen were listed in article51a of the constitution,its clause(f) reads"to value  and preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture."it didnot say our  "bhartiya" o9r "Indian" culture. 3)govt of india grant salaries through waqf boards for imams,naibimams,muazzins pn  the other hand the pujari's of temples and granthis of gurudwaras have to fend for  themselves. 4)The figures for subsidy to haj pilgrims is rising every year.in contrast not a  single peny is given to hindu pilgrims who go to mansarovar. In fact, they have to  pay yatri tax at varios points on their route.special class citizen are treated on  a different footing as against second class citizen. 5)archaeological deparment funds are for the repairs and beautification of the  jama masjid of delhi. in contrast not a single paisa has ever been spent by any  govt for the repair/beautification of far more ancient temples like  badrinathj,kedarnath,kashi etc. 6)80% of the income of any leading temple will go to state govt 20% is given back  to the temples for the temples for their maintenance. no take over of such  mosques. 7)chirare sharief mosqu was burnt down by islamic terrorist in kashmir and a grant  of one crore was sanctioned immediately for its reconstruction but no such  restoration was done to 64 temples that were destroyed from 1985 to 1990 in the  same kashmir. even 4 temples destroyed by muslimsrioters in march 2001 in kanpur  received no assistance from govt for their restoration. this is truly spl class  treatment to spl class ctizen. 8)during kuwait war 95%muslims were arranged to transport at the govt cost.but not  a single paisa was spent when 70000 kashmiri pandits were hounded out of their  home land in kashmir. such is the concern shown only to spl class ctizen. media problem on ram mandir & narendra modi  1)the coverage by the national media has always been vastly been vastly more than  chaitable to the muslims and remarkably harsh to the hindus. 2)on dec 6 the prime minister narshima rao addressed the nation on the national  television annonced that "the babri masjid has been destroyed" not a singl  journalistcared to recall that in 1986, none other than rajiv gandhi the then pm  had himself been instrumental in getting the locked gates of the same building  thrown open for hindu worshippers.thus it was actually a ram temple in 1986  suddenly became a babri masjid just because sri narsimha rao called it (BABRI  MASJID"NOT A SINGLE JOURNALIST checked out with the prime minister,a functioning  temple in 1986 suddenly became a mosque in dec 1992. 3)on modi media always tell lie, it was reported in all the English dailies of the  country that cm narendra modi directed the police to look the other way.however  the following facts never saw the light of the day in the national english dailies  and most tv channels a)on the very first day (28th feb 2002) of the riots,10 hindu rioters had been  shot and 16 were wounded by police bullets. as many as 5450 rounds had been fired  on the very first day. b)within the first three days 34 hindu rioters had been killed and 56 were wonded  in police firing. in the worse affected areas, shoot at sight orders had also been  issued c)in all ,80 hindus were shot dead and 207 wonded by police bullets? if modi had indeed ordered the police to look the other way as suggested by the  media,how did so many casuilties of hindus occured throgh police bullet? a total of 10500 ronds of bullets and 15000 tear smoke shellswere fired during  the riots days in gujrat, but nomedia showed intrest in these figure. d)the media reported that army assistance was called by modi after 3 days. the  fact is that army assistance was sought on the very first day on 28th feb.and it  arrived the same night by plane.it was deployed on the march 1,2002 at 11a.m the  media counted 3 days from 28th to 1st march, conveniently forgetting that feb is  only a 28 days month. e)the media made out that wholesale one sided killing a arson by hindus against Muslims, the fact is that as on march 5,2002 if 98 refugee camps were housing the  muslim refugees, as many as 13 camps were housing the hindu refugees. therefore,  to say that riots in gujrat were a one sided affair, is gross falsehood.  the above contrast in what was being propagated by the media and was being  actually done in the field shows that not enough efforts were made by media  representatives to elicit facts from authentic sources. nevertheless above surely shows that the Muslims in India have enjoyed  the "most favored community" status in independent India, and the media has always  been more generous and sympathetic in their approach towards the Muslims than to  the Hindus.
